Hi, I am not the girl from Ipanema, or not even from the Copacabana, but I do like Brazilian jazz and bossa nova. I have a keen interest in the music, the folklore and the general culture of many countries of the world. I sing songs (terribly) in languages - such as Quechua, Sranantongo, Farsi... - of which I don't understand a single word. I haven't got many friends; maybe it is because I am too much of a blonde.
I have an open mind and can write about almost anything, but I have no time for celebrity gossip or sports watching. I'd rather not write to so-called New Atheists; all they do is proselytising their infantile irreligious beliefs ad nauseam. I also don't understand why some knobheads can be apathetic about politics; after all, politics concerns everyone of us each and every day of our lives, and beyond.
English is not my first, second, or third language, but I do my best and I am quite good at foreign languages.
