I am a 63 year old well educated Asian Chinese woman who is looking for a male penpal. My penpal preferably should be from Canada, USA, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
Age group should be 55 years and above or we might not be able to relate well. I am still trying to understand the millenias, both early and late.
A penpal who is willing to express himself well through the use of words. Being pen pals require a two way sharing to grow the friendship. Otherwise, it will die a natural death if one gives and the other only receives.
I have been involved in a range of careers starting with journalism, travel writing, education, Christian theology, psychology and now, in the food service industry.
While I generally have some knowledge of politics and economic matters, I do not relish discussing it in depth with my penpal. Religious beliefs is another area that can be sensitive and so, best to leave this out of the sphere of pen paling.
However, I love to tell you more about my country Malaysia, South East Asia and the variation of cultures among Asians. We are so diverse in our traditions, beliefs, practices and food. Omigosh, our food is so exotic indeed.
I am married but separated, yet still living as housemates under the same roof for financial ease. That being said, I am only searching for friends that will grow into long term friends. Perhaps, even one day, our paths may cross and we may meet. Yet, that is a story for another day.
