Poetry, philosophy, and literature enthusiast. I play video games too a little bit.
Due to noisy and jumpy mind my focus is all over the place. i read all sorts of books but i have a hard time maintaining target to finish them all. I guess this also applies to other little things in my life.
I don't have the brain power to comprehend philosophy, but i'm always fascinated by how these thinkers came up with their own system in trying to comprehend the self and the world where the self is thrown in (a little nod to Heidegger haha). And i'm not a systematic reader. I've been reading from the likes of Derrida, Foucault, Sartre, Kant, Hegel, even to Land, Nussbaum, Wiggins, and Sider.
I write poetry but only in indonesian.
I just love the themes of disasociation, nostalgia, and isolation. My writings are so vague but these themes present themselves automatically every time i write.
I rarely read poetry nowadays actually but my interest has been renewed from reading Louise Glück and John N. Morris' poetry.
I still have this romantic idea of having friends all around the world. It's a feeling that grew a long time ago when i first discovered penpal in my teenage years. I always wonder how people live life at the other part of the world, how life comes to them in such a personal, embodied experience that i can never truly know. It's a fascinating mystery.
