Hobbies:web novels, hiking, cooking, dancing, arts and crafts, languages, business, manga, brain teasers Penpal message / wishes: Hallo my name is Elri, 24. I am from South Africa and want to chat with people from all over to know more about different places, cultures and languages. That or just chat nonsense about our daily lives.
I enjoy sending random pictures of my daily life and would like to see how you live your life as well. Fair warning you might receive lots of puppy pictures.
I am purely interested in friendship so no romance please.
Penpal message / wishes: Hello am Sheila Dzediku, am 23 years old, I am an outgoing girl and am a good blend of traditional and modern values. I love singing, dancing, music and go for long drives frequently.
There is so much pressure with starting to right this message. Need to get attention, but attention from the right people, are you one of them? If you think so please continue reading.
I am a 25 year old woman from the beautiful country of South Africa (despite popular belief, Africa is on big continent with many different cultures and people, we aren't on small country where we all know each other and act the same, therefore do not judge a book by it's cover)
I am currently a student, but luckily for me I will the graduating this year and finally be entering the world of work (I don't think I am ready yet though).
Why am I here? Well as the sight states, I am here to make a penpal! I have always dreamt of having a good long term penpal. I tried it in high school and some lasted a few months, one even a few years, but sadly now I have none. I've reached a time in my life where I feel I want to share what's happening in my life with someone (no matter how boring it might be) and in turn be able to learn more about someone else.
I believe in the world now a days we talk more and listen less. We are quite superficial with our interactions and no longer have deep meaningful conversations. I want to get to know someone. I want to know the superficial stuff and the deeper stuff. From what you are eating today, to your deeper darkest secret.
That's it, that's why I am here. If you feel you are that person craving for someone to just talk to about life, please message me.
Please note I will only respond to people seriously looking for long term penpals. People who respond with long messages and not short ones. People within my age group (I feel more comfortable about that). Please be honest and truthful.I will only be able to do email penpals and not snail mail, unfortunately that is a little expensive for me as a student.
Hobbies:Football, swimming and travelling Penpal message / wishes: I'm a kind honest, truthful and God fearing guy. Im sometimes jovial, I'm here to get a truthful and and kind hearted woman. Just feel Free to contact me am always ready for everything. Men can contact me as well but I hate scammers. If you are serious just feel free to message me.. Feel free to write to me at (Skyze3138@gmail.com )
Hobbies:Writing, Reading Classic Novels, Collecting, Hiking, Camping, Ancient History and Mythology, Mystery Penpal message / wishes: We live in an age where technology has taken over almost everything; without the use of a pen or paper you can write someone a message, click 'send' and a couple of seconds later the recipient is reading what you've wrote. Yet there are a handful of people who choose to revert back to the slower yet more charismatic way of communication, hand-written letters, and I'm one of those people! But in all fairness my banker shouldn't expect to find a hand-written letter from me, our relationship is not that special!
I've been at this penpal business for a while now and I've become addicted to it because of the wonderful people I met. Meeting someone else introduces you to a different walk of life and a different perception of the world than the one you are used to, also you're making a friend in the process.
My problem is that once my fingers touch the keys of a keyboard or hold a pen they get out of hand (pun intended!) I always joke that if my hands hand lungs they would be out of breath most of the time. Yes I love to write, so much so in fact that I'm pursuing my dream of becoming a writer so that one day I can say I chose this life and did not settle for another one! But studying doesn't pay the bills and life told me I had to do something, so I went to work on a farm, having grown up on one. It's immense fun and surely beats the hustle and bustle of the city life.
I'm a collector of books, but not just any books, classic novels like Fight Club, To Kill A Mockingbird, American Psycho, Silver Linings Playbook... you get the gist. But these aren't your average bookshop bought books, they're very special because all of them are signed by their authors! An expensive hobby yes, but I can't describe the feeling of holding a book in your hands the author of the book signed! I think I will faint if I hold a signed Stephen King book in my hands one day! And in the same breath, can I just say I think King deserves a standing ovation for his novel 'It'? Because the book's just as terrifying as the movie. EGGBOY!
Other hobbies of mine include camping, definitely traveling (I've traveled to Europe in the past) and I'm saving to go to Australia this time next year. Ancient History and Mythology, it's so interesting I can't get enough of it! I enjoy listening to music, and believe me when I say I listen to everything, except metal. Do any of you know Future Islands! Now that's my jam!
I have written so much yet I haven't given you the slightest about my identity. Let's do the who, what, where, when, how; shall we? Okay who? My name is Meyer, how do you do? Okay What? Hmmm that's tricky, can we view that as what am I? I'm an ambivert, (real word, regardless of what spellcheck say) but it means I enjoy parties and hanging with people, but I also enjoy my solitude. Where? Usually when I tell people where I'm from I feel like Shrek, "AAAAAAH Help! Run! Someone from South Africa! He's gonna swindle and scam us!" I say to those people who have this narrow-minded view of not just South Africa but the whole continent you can go, as Sheldon Cooper said, "The mean man said I should go and have coitus with myself."
South Africa is a beautiful and such an unique country I just want to make a friend and share what South Africa has to offer with you. When? I'll take that as when was I born? 1993, which makes this the 25th year I have walked this earth. Finally, how? How would I like to communicate? Snail mail, yo! It has a certain charisma to it that no email will ever have and I've mentioned about being burned before, but you can send me and email because I would like to know who I am writing to!
But let's get down to business, why am I here? Well I'm in search of penpals from Australia, Europe, New Zealand and the United States to write to. I don't want an email friendship because of past experiences, so strictly snail mail. Also I would like to meet people in my age range 20-30 years old, and I'm sorry but I'm gonna enforce the rule of not talking to anyone younger than 20 or older than 30. Perverts and scammers can keep of scrolling, and asking for money? I mean yeah the Rand is pretty worthless so you won't be better off anyways, but do not ask nonetheless.
Well then I think I've reached the inevitable end! If you like what you saw, please click on the link to reveal my email address and start typing! I can't wait to hear from you!
