I’m Chante, a South African girl from Cape Town who enjoys the simple things in life like getting lost in a good book, sleeping way later than I probably should, having interesting conversations, discovering new things, and enjoying good food. I’m also someone who really enjoys writing. There’s something special about getting a message from someone and actually sitting down to read their thoughts, rather than just exchanging a few “how are you?” and “I’m good” texts. I like conversations that wander. As for what I’m looking for in a pen pal, I’m not looking for someone who feels like they have to write the “perfect” message. I’d much rather hear from someone who is genuine, curious, open-minded and comfortable being themselves.
I’d love to meet people from different countries, cultures and walks of life. Tell me about where you live, what your everyday life is like, the food you eat, the music you listen to, the traditions you grew up with, or the things that make your part of the world feel like home. I think there’s something really cool about getting to know a person through their ordinary life.
