Hello everyone. I'm here with the intention of finding a soulmate and hopefully establish a real relationship. I'm not looking for an online relationship or long distance relationship. Most people meet me through a headline.
Very few ever get the chance to meet the man behind it.
My name is Shane Goldsby. I’m 31 years old, currently incarcerated in Washington State, and have spent the last decade rebuilding my life from the inside out. I have approximately 18 years remaining until my release, and I’m determined to make every one of those years count toward something meaningful.
In 2020, prison officials housed me with the man convicted of raping my sister. What happened afterward went viral and changed my future forever. The result was 25 additional years added to my sentence. Whether people agree with me or not, I believe the full story deserves to be understood.
But this isn’t a post about my case.
It’s about purpose.
Today, I spend my time writing, studying psychology, developing podcast projects, working on nonprofit concepts, and trying to create conversations that help people understand transformation, accountability, prison culture, justice reform, and the realities of change.
I’m also happily engaged to the most amazing woman I could have ever asked for, and I’m incredibly grateful for the love and support we share. Because of that, I want to be clear that I’m not looking for romance of any kind. What I am looking for are genuine friendships, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to connect with people who share a desire to grow, create, and make a positive impact.
I’m looking to connect with people who want to build something meaningful. Writers. Podcasters. Advocates. Entrepreneurs. Reform-minded thinkers. People who care about making a real difference in the lives of others.
