I'm at that point in my life where I'm certain it's the home stretch. The grey strands of facial hair, the ability to sleep late but still somehow wake up early.
I reflect upon what I have achieved, and realize how insignificant it all really is. So I strive to do more... to become more. The more I become, the more I realize how much I am lacking still.
I wanted so much more, I wanted financial freedom, I wanted to travel, I wanted I wanted I wanted. There comes this turning point however, when you realize how shallow those 'wants' are, and embrace the value of giving more. Have you given? It's not just your wealth or material possessions, it's your time. Time is the most valuable commodity. Giving time as a sacrifice towards another, or a bigger purpose, a greater objective... That's (in my humble opinion) the most valuable and constructive use of our breaths on this Earth.
It's all about time.
Queue covid... and with it's lockdowns and complete overhaul of our lifestyles, time is ample. and yet... I procrastinated still.
Not even certain why I'm writing here, would you like to procrastinate and use more of our times in futile meaningless banter?
Perhaps that's the human thing to do after all.
