Nothing ever worked even when I tried so very hard to utilize some far-fetched literary diction — so, to put it plainly:
I am looking for pen-pals who also do A LOT of creative writing based on extensive reading of literature. Not some popular culture of slam poetry or whatever faddish trends the Internet is advocating. Probably oldish stuff like Sylvia Plath or Dorothy Parker. Contemporary can be good but only when it's not too … what's the word, prosaic?
As I am currently sending many of my poems to literary publications, I'm hoping to discuss the impressions and crafts of versified writing. Everything should be done only in emails or instant messengers. I prefer to converse with people my age (over forty) and I am dead serious about favoring those who are well-read.
