Penpal message / wishes:
HELLO POTENTIAL PEN PALS!
Your search for a lifetime penfriend is over! It's you I am talking to!:P I mean YOU;). Wow! Congratulations! You've found the right penpal! So, I was wondering if there is anyone out there who truly wants a pen friend? Anyone out there who isn't looking for a date? Someone who doesn't feel the need to exchange pictures anytime soon with whom they are sharing information with? Someone out there who thinks that writing abilities have nothing to do with skin colour, looks, or eye colour? If this makes sense to you, then I challenge you to read on to decide if we click!
But that's not to say that I am uninterested in your pictures or doing a video call with you, just that it should not happen within the first 5 emails!
Okay, just want to put this here! Ha! Day-in-day- out we see many people with so many profiles here and on the internet looking for friends. The world has changed completely with different people emerging from different countries and continents. Yeah, which means this penpal stuff isn't safe, right? So, if I write something good about me here, what proves that what I have written is a true reflection of me? It is quite evident that the internet has no limitations or restrictions so long as false identities are concerned. I could write a whole lot of good stuff about me, like I'm the son of the president of my country, I have tons of gold bars in my room, and blah blah blah. Now the question is: How would you know if I am real? Well, from my own perspective analysis, all you need is time to be able to ascertain and separate the wheat from the weeds. Just sending a word of caution to people on here to be wary of the internet and all those who prowl its electrons. Enough of the rambling!
My name is Dennis, a 28 year old male living in Ghana, Africa. I am currently in my first year of university offering Building Technology. Enough about me or we will have nothing to talk about when you write me:).
Why I'm here? Let me first state that it was a tough decision do so considering a re-post of an address on here. I've had to delete my address here since I became fed-up with emails that had to do with business or marriage proposals in order for me to obtain a green card as though it were the reason for my being here. I had my address on here for a while but then my experience in chatting with people hasn't been good. I got disappointed on the way because so far anyone I ever contacted or who ever contacted me was never interested in pen-pals, and had other motives. I got frustrated and had to quit, however, I thought of giving this a one more chance to see what comes out of it.
Now to the main reason why I've re-surfaced on here! I think, No! I am in search of pen-friends, both male and female, from all walks of life between 30 and 65 years who are actually interested in e-mail and snail-mail, so I could share my thoughts with, my ups and downs, joy, sorrows, failures, accomplishments, etc etc, and to also share the traditions and customs of my country with, my travel experiences with.
I am a huge snail mail enthusiast and an addict, so we won't be compatible if you aren't into that. There is nothing more fascinating and thrilling than having to anticipate the arrival of a letter written by a complete stranger thousands of miles away in your inbox! Hand written letters is a lost art that needs to be reignited! Information Technology has been the main Master minder behind causing a threat to postal letters. Smart phones, tablets, android phones, PDAs, PCs and other IT gadgets have contributed immensely to the low patronage of stamps and postal letters. Snail mail is a beautiful art that must continue just as it has been! If you have same ideologies as me regarding the subject matter, then we are gonna be great friends since we gonna bombard each other with lots of letters!!!
I also collect different stuff from different countries which include pens, pencils, writing pads, envelopes, fabrics, coins and notes of smaller currency bills, etc so if you are into that then that's a big plus!
Quick reminder: I am highly intolerant of business and marriage proposals so don't even try it. I am not looking to find a wife either; I would probably find one where I live, not someone from thousands of miles away. That being said, please put your favourite food in the subject line when writing to me so that I will know you actually read my address else you will have your email moving straight into the trash. I'm doing this because some people would * steal * addresses on here just to send the same message to multiple people at a go.
And please no "one-line" emails because I won't respond. It takes just some few minutes to send an email and so if you can't put in a little effort to type a message then I am sorry; we aren't meant to be.
And no, I am not looking to get a green card neither am I here for your bank or credit card details. I am working hard towards getting one ( credit card) that's why I am currently married to my books:P
I think that is it for now. Please don't hesitate to drop an email in my inbox if this has caught your attention, otherwise, good luck in your pen-pal search! Have a nice day!
