Hobbies:writing letters (snail mail), books, nature, music, photography, the arts, languages and cultures,.. Penpal message / wishes: Hello everyone,
I am a 37-year-old girl from Austria and would love to find a couple of fantastic people (yes, that's you) :D who would like to communicate with me through good old-fashioned letters! They are like magic and I would love to send many fat envelopes with long letters and a couple of "papery" surprises to you. :-)
Being rather shy and introvert in real life (and a huge thinker), it's far easier for me to make snail mail friends than to talk to complete strangers on the street. I am not someone who likes crowds or feels comfortable among people, I prefer my solitude, a walk in the woods or good conversation to pubs and clubs.
I am very much into music (I mostly listen to Rammstein right now), nature/plants/animals, foreign languages, new words, photography, creativity, day-dreaming; I immensely enjoy reading (mostly fairytales, fantasy books, children's novels and poetry) and I never say no to beautiful postcards, stamps, stationery and washi tape. :D I am also into folklore, tarot cards (because of the wonderful artwork), star-gazing, watching British TV series and reading some mindstyle magazines.
At the moment I am trying to reduce my belongings to the most important and essential things and I am probably not your typical shopping girl (however, I love colourful bags....my guilty pleasure....oh, and sweets!), except when it comes to books and lovely stationery. ;-) One can never have enough stories and writing pads, right?
If you think that you would like to know me better and begin a snail mail friendship, I would be delighted and really rather happy to hear from you!! ;-)
I'm Helen, looking for people who want to exchange e-mails with me.
A randome fact about me: I love to explore new places, what mostly leads to me getting lost or ...as I like to phrase it: I just like to take the longer trail to enjoy the scenery along the way
So, if you are aound my age and want to exchange e-mails - feel free to write me! Hope to talk to you soon!
Hobbies:letters, postcards, films, music, books, walking, photography, collecting, nature,... Penpal message / wishes: Hi, hello, Geronimoooo and a good day to you!!! I would like to find a few pen friends (the traditional method with pen and paper, no email-pals and I am not into chatting online, sorry!) because it's super-exciting to receive a letter from another corner of the world. Mine are often a bit like novellas (length-wise) and full of quirky musings. I tend to create my very own world and love my 'head stuck in the clouds'-days, but of course I can also be serious when required. I am outspoken, warm-hearted, very open-minded and not afraid of bad language. ;)
Among many other things, I am a Whovian and a Potterhead with a penchant for discussing the universe and magic. Besides my native language German I also speak English (really???) and a few words of French, Italian, Spanish, Danish and Swedish and I am in love with the most wonderful creation ever: music!!! I also devour a great number of books every year and have a strange feeling in my stomach when I've eaten a particularly fat one. :D Digestion, digestion
I would also really enjoy exchanging postcards and other not-too-big things from our countries that fit into an envelope.
That's all for now, I believe. ;) When (if!) you choose to reply, please don't just send me one sentence because it's impossible for me to tell from that one line whether we would be great pen friends or not. :/
