I won't make you laugh nor will I put a smile on your face. My sense of humor is very limited and I seldom make use of it when addressing my pen pals. I'm a very serious and formal guy, even though I wish I was not.
I'm open to any kind of discussion. It could be related to music, movies, philosophy, politics, economics, travels, long distance walking, vegetarianism, the ethical treatment of animals, religions, etc.
I like to dive deep into existential issues, the meaning of life, the reason for the universe to exist and into other related issues but I don't demand from any potential pen pal to follow suit. Like I already stated, I also favor a lighter kind of conversation.
Many years ago (so many that it looks as something that has taken place in a previous incarnation!) I had the chance to spend eight years overseas living in different countries and having done all kinds of jobs in order to survive and save some money for moving to the next country. It's been an experience not to be forgotten. I suppose the definition of what being a hodophile is all about would fit me nicely, even though, for different reasons, I haven’t trespassed for many years the boundaries of the city where I happen to live.
If you have done something similar to what I’ve done (even if it has been for a shorter period of time), perhaps we can share our respective memories.
